Leading League goalscorer:
Jordan Rhodes
 (Huddersfield Town)
35 goals

Probably any club in the world would have been happy to accept an invitation from Juventus to play them in the first match at their new ground. The invite went to League 1 side Notts County, honouring the historic links between the clubs.
The Full Story.

After appearing in 3 League games as a substitute 15-year-old Jordan Ibe scored on his starting debut for Wycombe against Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday October 29th 2011. His parents were in the stands and understandably he ran over to celebrate with them - and was promptly booked!

By the time the return Sheffield Wednesday v Wycombe match was played at Hillsborough - on the last day of the League season - Ibe had moved to Liverpool and Wednesday needed a win to guarantee promotion. They won, before 38,082 fans, the top attendance for the season in the 3 divisions of the Football League.
