Saturday April 28th 1923 saw footballing highs and lows in England. The first FA Cup final was played at Wembley with the official attendance being 126,047 with perhaps 200,000 turning up at the stadium. Those who watched the 10 First Division matches played that day suffered the lows - just 10 goals were scored, not one of them by an away side.
