R Leicester Fosse and Glossop were required to seek re-election to the Second Division. They were joined in the vote for League membership by four non-league clubs. Voting -

The Football League was suspended after the AGM due to the First World War and before the competition resumed - in the 1919/20 season - it was decided that the First and Second Division would each increase in size by two clubs. The increase in the First Division was achieved by Chelsea not being relegated from Division 1 and Arsenal gaining an extra promotion place - for voting details click on Division 1 1914/15. This left four places to fill in Division 2 and eight non-league clubs took part in the election. Voting -
