      LEAGUE 2    2013/14

Leading League goalscorer:
Sam Winnall
 (Scunthorpe United)
23 goals

In 2010 they played in an FA Cup final as a Premier League club but in 2013 Portsmouth started life as a League 2 club. Crippled by financial mismanagement they started the season with new hope, as a club owned by their fans. Their first match in League 2 saw them defeated 1-4 at home by Oxford United but with a capacity 18,181 crowd at Fratton Park surely things were on the up?
