Brentford played an amazing 9 League matches in October 1963 which saw a couple of very unusual results. On October 12th they lost 5-2 at home to Bristol Rovers, one of their worst ever home defeats. Three days later in another home match they beat Wrexham 9-0, still their record League win. In February they had another home thumpind, losing 2-6 to Luton.
