	Wigan Borough resigned from the League on 26th October 1931 due to financial difficulties and their League record was declared void. Wigan Borough were drawn away to Burton Town in the First Round of the FA Cup (scheduled to have been played on November 28th) but withdrew from the competition on leaving the League.
