Leading League goalscorer:
Vic Watson
 (West Ham United)
 42  goals

For the first time a 6-6 draw was recorded in the Football League, at Filbert Street on Monday April 21st 1930 when Leicester City and Arsenal shared 12 goals in a First Division fixture. The scoreline has only been repeated only once since - in the Charlton Athletic v Middlesbrough Division 2 match in 1960/61.

Amazingly Blackburn were involved in two matches were a dozen goals were scored beating Birmingham 7-5 at Ewood Park and Sheffield United by the same score at Bramall Lane. Another 11 came in their 8-3 home defeat of Burnley. Those were the days!

Twice Liverpool conceeded 6 goals at Anfield in 1929/30 - they didn't do that again until 2007.
