      UEFA Cup

Despite what the programme says, QPR's home match against AEK did not take place at Wembley Stadium. Rangers hoped to play on a better surface before a large crowd at Wembley on the Thursday rather than the scheduled Wednesday night. However AEK insisted that the match was played on the Wednesday meaning that Loftus Road hosted the tie.

QPR qualified for Europe for the first time by League position, gaining a UEFA Cup spot by finishing second to Liverpool in the First Division in 1975/76.
