* Because of Covid travel restrictions Chelsea's Champions League Last 16 away match against Atletico Madrid of Spain was played in Romania, at the Arena Nationala in Bucharest.

** Covid travel restrictions between England and Portugal saw both legs of Chelsea's Champions League quarter-final against Porto played at the same venue in Spain, at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan Stadium in Seville.

 

Chelsea qualified for the Champions League after a fourth-place finish in the 2019/20 Premier League.
