Cardiff City were the Welsh representatives in the ECWC following their Welsh Cup final victory over Wrexham in 1964/65. In the two-legged final each side won their home leg but despite the aggregate score being 5-2 in favour of Cardiff the rules required a play-off which Cardiff won 3-0 at Shrewsbury. |
