Due to work being done at Villa Park the two home matches were played at the Hawthorns, West Bromwich Albion FC. |
Aston Villa and Bradford City represented England in the Intertoto Cup in 2000/01. Drawn in the same section, there was much speculation that they would meet in one of the three finals with a place in the UEFA Cup at stake. Inevitably therefore they both lost in the semi-finals! |
