On Wednesday November 25th 1992
Peterborough United beat Kingstonian 9-1 in an FA Cup 1st Round replay,
Tony Philliskirk scoring five. Both were scoring records for the Posh but
neither stood as the match result was declared void. Kingstonian 'keeper
Adrian Blake was hit by a coin thrown from the crowd and had to be
substituted in the 55th minute when the score was 3-0. Peterborough won
the re-staged match, played behind closed doors, by a more modest 1-0.
