For the first time a 6-6 draw was recorded in the Football League, at Filbert Street on Monday April 21st 1930 when Leicester City and Arsenal shared 12 goals in a First Division fixture. The scoreline has only been repeated once since - in the Charlton Athletic v Middlesbrough Division 2 match in 1960/61.
